Restoring a Deleted Action

Deleted Actions cannot be restored within the database. However, it is possible to retrieve the deleted information and create a new Action on the Record containing that information.

Navigate to Database Tools > Data Cleanup and Correction > View Edits.

Click View All Database Edits.


In the window that opens, select a date range in which the Action may have been deleted. Then select tblClientActions from the list.

Use the Filter on the Action header to only show DELETED actions.


Select the deleted Action. The Changes from this Log Entry area will populate with the Values for each field when the Action was deleted.


If you would like to copy and paste the information, double-click the deleted action you would like to see. The Zoom window will appear.

The Zoom windows contains the same information as the Changes from this Log Entry area, but in a format where it can be copied then pasted into Word or Notepad.


This information can now be used to create a new Action with the old information. If all fields are set to the data from the deleted Action, it will act as restored with only the Action ID being different.
