The search bar for Junxure typically resides along the right side of the program to allow for quick searching of Contact records.

In certain cases, the search bar may be moved from this default location or disappear entirely. See below for troubleshooting to restore the search bar to its default location.
Search Bar Is Docked in the Wrong Place
If the search bar has become docked on the wrong section of Junxure (for example, across the top) the first step is “undock” the search bar by double-clicking on the header line that says Search.

This will switch the search bar to a floating window. See below on docking the search bar in the correct location.
Search Bar Is Floating
If the search bar has become detached from the main Junxure window, it can be reattached by dragging it to the correct part of the Junxure main window.

Click the header of the floating search bar and drag it to one edge of the Junxure window and release when the snapped outline appears to snap it to that edge.

Search Bar Is Missing
If your search bar does not appear at all, first be sure that you have not accidentally “unpinned” the search bar and put it into hidden mode. Look for the word “Search” appearing along the edge of the window.

If you hover over that area, the search bar will pop out. You can un-hide the search bar by clicking the pushpin icon in the pop-out.

If this is not the case, and the search bar is missing entirely, you can follow the following process to restore it.
Note:
These steps require terminating a process through Windows Task Manager. If you are in a terminal server environment or do not have authorization to use Task Manager from your IT, you will need to contact Junxure Support and have them work with your IT to restore your search bar.
Navigate to Database Tools > Data Cleanup/Correction > Delete Grid Templates.

Select the row of Formname Main Menu and Gridname DockXML.

Press Del on your keyboard and confirm the deletion.

At this point do not close the Delete Grid Templates window. The only way for this to work and restore your search bar is to do the following:
- Open Windows Task Manager through one of the following methods:
- Right-click on the taskbar and click Task Manager.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and click Task Manager.
- Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.
- Navigate to Windows Processes (this varies by OS). Find the Junxure.exe process and end the process.

Restart Junxure to see your Search Bar restored.
