Accounts/Assets Tab Overview

Accounts/Assets Tab Overview

The Accounts/Assets Tab in a contact record stores account information and underlying assets. This data can be inputted in the system in two ways: imported through Asset Imports or entered in the system manually.

This tab stores assets such as Stocks, Bonds, and Mutual Funds as well as property and liabilities (Ex: Loans and Mortgages). This also pulls data from the assets listed on the Insurance Tab (these must be updated through the Insurance tab first).

Before you get to the Accounts/Assets tab, update the data in the Insurance Tab. To do this:

1. Open a contact record and click on the Insurance Tab.

2. The Insurance Details screen appears.

3. In the Type field, use the drop-down to select a type. Enter an amount into the Cash Value field.

In this example, insurance that has a Cash Value entered with a Type of Life will appear on the Accounts/Assets tab on the INS insurance line with their Cash Values grouped into one total.
