Data Cleanup/Correction: Merge Contacts
The Merge Contacts feature enables you to merge two contact records into one due to a marriage or other event including a data import that separated contacts. The Merge Contacts feature makes one contact a spouse of another contact and removed from the People list.
Caution!
The Merge Contacts option cannot be undone.
In Junxure, go to Database Tools > Data Cleanup/Correction > Merge Contacts. This will launch the Merge Tool.

Indicate which client is to be moved in the first box labeled "Delete this Client". This client's info will be added to the Client contact record listed in the second box, labeled "Add as Co-Client to this Client".

Choose which data to merge.
- Choose the Merge Default Information checkbox to include the information below. (Click the question mark icon to see the following window.)

- To merge any of the other data points, indicate using the check boxes in the lists. To select all the buttons at once, click the Select All button. To clear all selected items, click the Clear All button.
- Click Merge Clients.

- In the Perform Merge window that appears, click Yes to merge the clients or No to cancel the merge.
