The Junxure Outlook Add-in facilitates email, calendar, and contact integration between Junxure and Microsoft Outlook.
Depending on your version of Microsoft Office, the Junxure Outlook Add-In may appear differently from the examples below.
Note: For optimal email handling with Microsoft Outlook, we recommend using the HTML format. See Set Up Email to HTML Format at the end of this document.
This document includes the following topics:
To activate the Junxure toolbar, click on a single email. All information will relate directly to that selected email.
Note: The Outlook Add-in toolbar will automatically disable if you are not in the Inbox or Sent Items folders and subfolders.

This function matches the email address to a Junxure contact’s email address (must have a classification of “Email” or “Client”). Note: Junxure Import button is disabled (grayed out) when there is an email match.
Copy Client Email Address: This button (circled in red above) allows you to copy the email address to the left to make it easy to add the email address to a record in Junxure.
Junxure Import by Client Search: This button (circled in yellow above) is used to import the selected email by client last name search.
Action ID: Displays the Client Action ID of the selected email. If the email has not been imported into Junxure then it will display “N/A” or similar to the image to the left, and the Junxure Import button will be enabled (not grayed out). If the email is attached to an action, the Action ID number will be displayed, as above circled in orange. Click on this button to open the Action Detail Screen.
Contact Data: Displays which client (if any) this email was attached to. In the case of the button to the left, the image indicates the email was not attached George Andrew’s contact record. In the window above, circled in green the Contact Data shows the email is not attached to any record. Click the person icon on this button to open the client’s contact record.
Manage: This button, circled in blue above, will allow you to reassign the selected email to a new action or to a different existing action in Junxure. You can also use this button to remove emails from actions once they have been captured. See Changing Individual Email Action Associations for more information.

Emails are created through the Junxure Outlook interface, with a Junxure Outlook Add-In. This toolbar will only appear if emails are created in Junxure.
See Creating a Single Email through Actions for more information.
You can create and store unlimited templates for single or global emails that will include formatting, merge fields, attachments and recipients for quick creation of emails sent over and over. See Email Templates for more information.
Email sent through or captured by Junxure can be found in several places on the Actions Tab, and in the Action Detail on a subtab storing strings of replies together for easy reference. See Finding Emails for more information.
Junxure applies a “Token” at the bottom of every email sent from the system or identified as belonging to an email contact in the system (either sent or received). This is the marker that Junxure uses to connect strings of emails together (replies from sender and creator) This token is very subtle in HTML emails, a little more obvious in plain text email. It looks similar to the example below.
For optimal results using the email handling features of Junxure with Microsoft Outlook, we recommend setting your email format to HTML.
Open Microsoft Outlook. From the top menu, go to Tools > Options.
Go to the Mail Format tab. In the field next to Compose a format in this message format, choose HTML. Click OK.
